Constructive Consultants is providing full Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for the development of Fluid Recruitment's new 897 m² high-specification office building. Working closely with Mason & Wales Architects, our role encompassed early-stage feasibility input, design coordination, cost planning, procurement strategy, and full contract administration through to completion.
From project inception, Constructive Consultants worked alongside the client and design team to develop a commercially robust and architecturally refined workplace solution that aligned with Fluid Recruitment's operational needs and long-term growth objectives. Particular focus was placed on achieving a high-quality modern office environment that balanced design intent, functionality, and cost certainty.
As part of the procurement strategy, Constructive Consultants led the tendering process and successfully negotiated a fixed lump sum contract with Cook Brothers Construction. This process involved detailed scope clarification, value management, and risk allocation to ensure the final contract price aligned with the project budget while maintaining design quality and construction certainty.
Throughout the construction phase, Constructive Consultants provided ongoing project management and cost control services, including programme monitoring, financial reporting, variations assessment, and stakeholder coordination. Close collaboration between the contractor, consultants, and client was key to maintaining momentum and ensuring smooth project delivery.
The completed building delivers a striking, contemporary office environment designed by Mason & Wales Architects, featuring high-quality finishes, efficient spatial planning, and a strong architectural presence.
