We are a team of Quantity Surveyors with over 25 years of experience in the New Zealand construction industry. Constructive maintains a focused approach in its operations and employs experienced building professionals with practical trade experience.
Led by Paul Rae, a highly experienced Registered Quantity Surveyor with a background in commercial construction and private practice, Paul has been involved in some of New Zealand’s biggest and most challenging projects.
What is a Registered QS?
A Registered Quantity Surveyor is a member of NZIQS who is recognised for their excellence and experience in the quantity surveying profession.
Being a Registered Quantity Surveyor signifies that the member has worked to increase their value to a client or employer by learning new skills and keeps their knowledge current. A Registered Quantity Surveyor must undertake accredited continuing professional development every 3 years which is approved by the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board.
This registration scheme is similar to the licensing and registration processes that the New Zealand Government requires of other professional groups. It is also similar to the membership requirements of most international quantity surveying institutions.
